Hey there, Ryan. I think I deserve the iPhone because I’ve never had anything apart from the iPod Touch 1G 8GB which totally sucks when you have to carry it with another phone. It’s in terrible quality and I can’t really afford to buy a new iPhone.

My name is Karl and I’m from Belgium (I know, pretty far :p).
I excuse me in advance if some of my English is bad…
Normally i would buy the iPhone myself with the money I’m gonna earn with a holiday job (in our country a lot of students work during the holidays so that they can buy something or just to earn money to put on their banc account). But since I’ve decided to do some volunteer work with an organization in (probably) Congo, all the money I’m going to earn will go integral to that “camp”.
When people ask me why i just don’t buy the iphone with the money, I say to them that the work I’m going to do (helping those poor people) would give me much more satisfaction than an iphone would ever do. Some people think I’m crazy, others understand me.
Anyway, the possibility that is now present (winning an iphone) would actually combine the two choices (volunteer camp/iphone), so it would really mean a lot to me if you’d pick me…

I would like the phone because I have not updated my phone in a long while, due to other priorities like food and housing etc, being a sole provider. I think I deserve this iPhone because I have never had any real touchscreen device. Also, the only iPod I’ve ever had was an iPod Video for about 6 months. I would buy it with my own money, but the cost of the data plan is to much since I’m still a student. I ave wanted the iPhone ever since it came out, but neither my parents or I could afford it because I needed a computer which was a thousand, then the economy, etc. So I would really like the iPhone. I need a phone because I got a phone for my birthday last year and one of my friends broke it. Since I wasn’t eligible for an upgrade I didn’t get one. Now am limited to my daily activity’s like going to different neighborhoods with my friends etc. And now the economy. Some people aren’t effected by it buy my family is. My single mom has to support a house hold of two kids, go to collage, go to work, and on the weekends go to her part-time job. That is the only reason we are living in this house probably. Because her two jobs she has enough to pay the bills, get groceries, and pay for collage. Then she has to raise two kids all at the same time. I hope you understand everything I have just explained.

My whole intention into entering this contest is to give the phone to a close friend of mine. She hasn’t had a phone in over a year simply because she can’t afford one. She does everything on her own, pays for everything, but can’t handle every expense that comes her way including buying a new phone. By giving her this phone she would go ecstatic! And if I do win the phone for her, I plan on helping her pay the phone bill for an entire year because she deserves a way of communication with the people she loves and cares about.

Ok, I know you probably will be getting a lot of sympathy claims so here goes some real reasons.
1. I have had the same phone (Motorola RAZR) for 5 years now and it is very primative, it does not have external memory and so I constantly have to make room for different things. This is annoying.
2. I am saving for filming equipment which is the path I truly desire for my future and I think you of all people know what it is like building up something from scratch!
3. I am on the move most of the time and need to be in contact constantly with people neccesary to my ‘company’. An IPhone aswell as being advanced enough to handle calls and emails 24/7 also as you know makes life soooo much easier with things such as instant research using ‘tinternet’ and tools that allow for a much easier lifestyle.

My Brother is 20 years old, and already,He’s Had two kids, Was forced to work two jobs to support them and just recently everything he’s ever owned (Including his iPhone) was unfortunetly burned in a house fire. First off, I have never owned an Apple product (not even the “lowly Shuffle!) though I’m such a fan of their products that I keep blogging about it (see here: ). In our country, $1 = P45-50 so the bit pricey Apple products become very, very expensive to us. Now that I have a chance to own an Apple product for free, I have to give my best shot to win it!
Second, if I win the iPhone, it wouldn’t go to me but to my hubby. I would certainly borrow it and play with it though! It’s my dream phone after all, hehe! So why will hubby get it? Coz his Sony Ericsson w700i conked out on him 2weeks ago! So far we have no money to buy a new phone coz his insurance payment is coming up this March plus we just spent for his masteral thesis defense last week. A new phone would just have to wait even though it’s a neccessity.

I’m an artist and I will be touring this summer. I’m an independent artist so it’s not like I have a lot of cash, or cash at all for that matter. My blackberry broke and I’m stuck with a super old phone and I can’t text or do anything on that phone. How’s it going Ryan, I think I deserve this iphone because my current phone is not very relyable, and times are rough rite now with the economy so my parents cant provide me with a new one. The phone i use doesn’t always allow me to make calls or the battery runs out to quickly. The effects by them are, me not being able to contact my parents or cousins after school when I don’t have any transportation home or if I ever have a problem. I recently began saving for an iPhone by fixing peoples’ computers, but due to the economy, business is very slow. I’ve always wanted an iPhone, but could never afford one. Mainly because I own a Motorola V360 (check it out, it’s ghetto!). Rogers actually sent it over to me free of charge after I lost my Sony Ericsson one time at the bar…

Hell Ryan, I am a 26 year old dad with a beautiful 3 year old little girl. I am a graphic design major and would really love to have an iphone. Being a college student and a dad I usually do not get to many cool things, because of the lack of money and all the responsibilities. I currently have a cheap freebie phone that came with my two year plan. Having an Iphone would be a huge upgrade for me and I think my little girl would like watching spongebob videos on it. Anyways I have never won anything so I figured I would give it a try. I think it is a really nice thing that you decided to give your phone away to your subscribers. I always wanted an iPhone since I first saw it on T.V. And almost all my phone are hand-me-down or sometimes a China Phone (Fake phone). I once had a China Phone that looked like and iPhone. I had that phone for only 2 or 3 months cause I wrecked it. So careless.
Anyway, I want your iPhone I can’t afford one it’s too expensive. If I could get your iPhone I would truly be grateful to you. I never earned any good phone.

And about the iphone i thing i should get it because am a architect ,designer and editor and what more than an iphone could i carry to carry my designs around easily. And i think if u give the iphone to me u will also have a scope for developing apps for the iphone for me and the designers out there..:-). We really need them when we travel too.
Here in india the iphone is a very new emegent thing and will give us a great new outlook and facility.
Whether i get the iphone or not i would request for applications for designing softwares which i say will definitely be helpful for the designers who travel around a lot.

I had one up until about 2 weeks ago, but then we went to Six Flags, and It fell out of my pocket on a ride. It didn’t fall off the coaster, but it stayed in the seat. I realized it about 30 minutes afterward, ran back, found it, and found out that it had been cracked in half……So yea, I have wanted an iPhone ever since I got an iPod Touch, but I can’t get the money. Hello Ryan, I am your biggest fan! I watch all of your videos all the time, you inspire me. My old cellphone got destroyed in a car accident, my family hasn’t been able to buy me a new phone yet because I have a severe lung disease and they have been paying for my medicine which is outrageously expensive!

I wanted to say that I agree with you about how the iPhone is much better than a Blackberry. I have an iPhone BUT it got damaged and my dad won’t ever buy me a new one again. I haven’t used this phone for one month and it’s killing my because I love my iPhone so much. I’m just dying to use one again. I miss listen to my music, surfing the web on sites, downloading stuff from the App Store, and most importantly, playing those amazing Apps.

Hello, my name is Mark-David Keller, I am an iPod touch user, and I have been wanting an iPhone for a very long time, because there are many apps on the apple iPhone that I can not use all the time on the go, due to lack of wifi connection.
I always find the applications Shazam, IM, Maps, and the internet in general.
I bought iPhone earphones (the ones with the mic built in) just specially for the Shazam app. I always get bummed when I walk into a store and I hear a really good song, and I can’t tag the song because I don’t have any wifi! But if i had an iPhone, I could always tag those songs.
I am always on IM, and my phone does not carry the capability of IM.
Texting is a pain my my phone, and I love typing on my iPod touch, but I wish I could actually text on it with my ACTUAL number, and whenever I wanted.
I also use maps alot because I just got a car 2 weeks ago, and I don’t really know my way around, and I don’t have a GPS system, because they are hard to use, and I’ll probably wreck trying to figure it out. I have taken a look at the maps on my iPod touch. I can just type in where I need to go, print screen what the results are, and then just look at the photo while im driving, but that isn’t good because I have had situations where I’ve had to go to alot of different places, and I had to source of a map, or GPS.
So, I’m not saying you HAVE to give me an iPhone, I’m just saying that it would be greatly appreciated, and I would definitely treasure, and take care of it, because it would be the main source of my direction and communication.

hi, i heard you were giving away the iphone and i have always wanted one the problem is the cost i could only get an ipod but it doesn’t have any mobile reception so i must take my trak fone prepaid phone with me and taking my camera with me as well as my ipod touch and it ends up being a lot of hassle because i don’t want to break anything, i just want to say that if i got it it would make my life a lot easier on me not lugging around all of my things and worrying about breaking them. I am 12 years of age and i have never had a cell phone before my parents cant afford to get me a nice phone like this but they did say if i get good grades on this trimester i can get one but it will be one of the free phones. i asked for the ipod touch for christmas but it was to expensive i have never had an apple product before and i would love it if you even considered this message. for a 12 year old it is hard to earn enough money.( my 13 birthday is in July) it is hard as it is to make money to buy something simpple like a 20 dollar doll or exc. with the economical reset it is hard to get new things so like i said before i would LOVE it if you considered my message i think if you chose me you would be happy to know your phone would be going into good hands.

I think that I deserve that iphone because, I have 5 brothers and one sister and that makes my hous pretty hectic. If I would have an Iphone I could get pictures of everything that goes on and have great memories and photos for my friends or even kids someday.
